All LNS personnel, employees or associates, who carry out activities with ionizing radiation risks must be classified for the purpose of radiation protection, according to the law.
The classification is carried out by the Qualified Expert on the basis of data reported in the radioprotection forms or by other information concerning the activity carried out in-site or off-site, provided by the activity managers, by the workers or by the Director.
The classification of each worker depends on the probability that, based on his activity, he is likely to receive doses higher than the values established by law.
