A tower, 600 metres in height, has been anchored off the coast of Sicily at a depth of 2000 metres: this is the first step towards the construction of the underwater telescope known as "KM3", which will be used to observe neutrinos, messengers of the "violent" Universe which come from the most remote parts of the Cosmos."
